FAQ

Is every piece really made by hand?

Yes. Each one is strung by hand, one at a time, from natural stone. Nothing is machine-assembled, and nothing is made in advance in quantity.

Will mine look exactly like the photograph?

No, and that is deliberate. Natural stone is not manufactured to match. Banding, cloudiness, a small fault inside — these arrive with the material, and we choose for them rather than around them. What reaches you will not be identical to the photograph, and it will not be identical to anyone else's. Natural variation is not treated as a fault.

What size are they?

One length: 17 cm, with about 1.5 cm of give as it goes on.

To measure your own wrist, wrap a strip of paper around the narrowest part, mark where it meets, and lay the strip flat against a ruler.

If you need another length, email maynono.studio@gmail.com before you pay, or leave it in the order note at checkout, and we will string it to your measurement.

What are they made of?

Natural stone — serpentine jade, quartz, freshwater pearl — with silver, sandalwood and amber in some pieces, on hand-dyed cotton and fabric cord. Every material is named on the product page.

Where are they made?

Hand-strung in China, and posted from there. Every parcel is tracked.

Where do you ship?

Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United Kingdom. If you are somewhere else, write to maynono.studio@gmail.com — we open new countries as we can post to them reliably.

What does shipping cost?

Nothing. It is included in the price of every piece, with no minimum.

How long does it take?

Orders are packed within 1–2 business days. After dispatch: 8–15 business days to Australia and New Zealand, 15–25 business days elsewhere. Those are honest ranges rather than best cases, and customs can add time we cannot predict, particularly in December.

Can I track it?

Yes. A tracking link is emailed when your parcel is dispatched. Tracking often sits still for several days while a parcel moves between countries. That is normal, and it does not mean the parcel is lost.

Will I be charged customs or duty?

Import duties and taxes are not included in the price and are yours if your country charges them. Most orders at this value arrive without a charge, but that decision rests with your local customs authority, not with us.

What if it does not arrive?

If tracking has not moved for 21 days, email maynono.studio@gmail.com and we will open an enquiry with the carrier. If a parcel is confirmed lost, we replace it or refund it.

Can I return it?

You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to request a return. The piece must be unworn, unused, in its original condition, and returned with its packaging and the printed reading card that came with it.

How do I start a return?

Email maynono.studio@gmail.com with your order number and a photograph of the piece, and wait for return instructions before sending anything back. Parcels returned without instructions can go missing, and we cannot credit what does not reach us.

I have changed my mind.

We will exchange the piece for another of the same value, or issue a credit note for what you paid — a code, usable on any future order, valid for three years. We do not refund a change of mind: every piece is strung to order by one pair of hands, and the parcel that carried it to you was posted free of charge. Return postage on a change of mind is yours to pay.

It arrived faulty, or it is not what I ordered.

We pay return postage, and you choose between a replacement and a full refund. You do not need a receipt — your order is in our records.

How long until I see the money?

A credit note is issued within 2 business days of your return arriving and being checked. A refund on a faulty or incorrect piece goes back to your original payment method within 5 business days. Your bank or PayPal may take a few days more. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

How do I look after it?

Keep it from knocking against hard surfaces. Store it sealed when you are not wearing it. Do not oil it, and do not soak it.

What is the Reading?

Nine questions, about three minutes. It reads what you are in the middle of right now, and suggests the pieces that meet it. It is not a diagnosis, it is not advice, and it does not promise anything about what a stone will do.

Why do you ask for my birth date?

It is used only to suggest an element and a material. It is not a reading of your future.

Do I have to take it?

No. Everything is for sale without it.
